Patches are probably the easiest way to get started with block printing. Small stamp sizes and not much waste if you mess up.
I tried finishing some with pinking shears, but am not entirely convinced of the end result. The postal stamp vibe is not entirely what I had initially pictured.
I attached one denim patch with unfinished edges to my bag. Time will tell how it will hold up.
